📝 Student Work Permits (School Year 2026–2027)

If you are under the age of 18, you must have a work permit to legally hold a job.

📍 Office Location: Jefferson's Work Permit Office is located in Room 304C.

⚠️ Review Before You Apply

Before you submit your application, please be aware that the school will review your academic, attendance, and behavioral records. Failure to meet any of the qualifications below may result in your work permit being denied.

📋 Work Permit Qualifications

• 📚 Academic Requirements
• You must have at least a 2.0 GPA on your last official report card.
• This is based strictly on your unweighted GPA.
• Note: Progress grades do not count toward this requirement.
• ⏰ Attendance & Punctuality
• You must maintain at least a 92% Attendance Rate.
• Tardies matter: Your tardy record will be thoroughly reviewed. Excessive tardies will result in your work permit being denied.
• 🤝 Behavior Expectations
• Behavior referrals from the current school year will be reviewed for approval.
• If you are frequently referred to the office for not meeting classroom or school behavior expectations, your work permit will not be approved.
