Thomas Jefferson High School is excited to share an opportunity for students and young adults ages 14–30 to participate in Vision Hack 2026, a free, full-day technology and innovation hackathon hosted at The Beehive in Los Angeles on September 12, 2026. Participants will explore careers in technology, work alongside industry professionals, develop real-world skills, and gain hands-on experience in emerging fields such as AI, cybersecurity, robotics, game development, and more.

Thomas Jefferson High School invites the community to its Art & Music Festival, a free event taking place on May 19 and 20 from 4:00–6:00 p.m. in the New Gym. Enjoy live music, student art exhibits, food, and activities for the whole family as we celebrate the creativity and talent of our students!

Jefferson High School celebrates the achievements of students who participated in the 37th Congressional Art Competition, including Ivana Ortiz, who earned first place, a $1,000 scholarship, and will have her artwork displayed in the U.S. Capitol for one year.

Thomas Jefferson High School invited the entire community to join us for our 2nd Annual “Celebrate the Earth through Art” event on Saturday, April 11, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This community celebration brought together art, environmental awareness, and campus beautification to inspire collective care for our planet. Families, students, staff, and neighbors were all welcome.

Thomas Jefferson High School invites families to participate in Bridge to College, a four‑week virtual workshop series presented by PIQE. These Spanish‑language workshops are designed to help families support their student’s successful transition to college by providing guidance on financial aid, campus resources, and student support services.

Thomas Jefferson High Community School invites all families to our Community Winter Festival on Tuesday, December 17, from 2:00 PM to 6:30 PM at 1319 E 41st Street. Enjoy a fun-filled afternoon with a Talent Show, Photos with Santa, Holiday Activities, a Holiday Movie, and a Toy Giveaway! Admission is FREE and open to everyone. Don’t forget to register for the Toy Giveaway by scanning the QR code on the flyer. Come celebrate the season with us!

Jefferson High Community School is inviting stakeholders to participate in the Budget Development & Comprehensive Needs Assessment Survey for 2026–2027. The goal is to gather input to help shape next year’s budget. A QR code is provided for easy access to the survey.

Join us on Wednesday, November 12, from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Jefferson High School Auditorium (or via Zoom) for an informative session with Griselda Delgadillo from the WIPA program. Learn about Supplemental Security Income (SSI), eligibility rules, and benefits for students with IEPs. All families are welcome!
